How can I unlock my Samsung?
Remember: before following these instructions, you should first order your Samsung unlock code.
Once you have received your Samsung unlock code, you can follow these simple instructions:
For most models:
A non-accepted SIM Card is required.
Please insert a non-accepted SIM card so that your phone will ask you for the 8 digit unlock code (NCK).
A non-accepted SIM card is a SIM card that is from a carrier that your phone is NOT locked to. For example, if your phone is CURRENLTY locked to Verizon, insert a SIM card from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, etc to get the unlock code prompt.
Enter the unlock code only ONCE.
If the code doesn't work, please contact us.
For all other models:
1. Turn ON your phone without SIM Card
2. Enter #7465625*638*Unlock Code# (where "Unlock Code" is the 8-digit unlock code you received from us)
3. Device should say "Network Lock Deactivated"
4. The phone may reboot and the unlock is completed
If you see: "Invalid SIM card" message
Enter #0111*CODE# (where "CODE" is the 8 digit unlock code you received from us)
If you see: "Phone Freeze" message
If you get the Phone freeze message, it means there have been too many failed attempts to enter the unlock code.
However, you can still unlock the phone using the Unfreeze code (MCK).
If your phone has a physical keypad, type the Unfreeze code (MCK) into the Phone freeze screen. Nothing will show up—this is fine. If nothing happens, you can try hitting # or the Call key after entering the code.
If your phone has only a touch screen, tap Call on the Phone freeze screen and then enter your Unfreeze code (MCK).
Once phone freeze is disabled, Network lock or SP lock screen will appear. Follow the directions for Network lock or SP lock below to unlock your phone.
If you see: "Phone locked. Return for service" message
#0199*MCK# (where "MCK" is the 8 digit unlock code you received from us)
If you see: "SP lock" message
At this point you should be prompted for your SPCK code.
Type the code and the phone will be unlocked.
If you see: "SIM password" message
Enter your Unfreeze code (MCK) at the prompt.
If you see: "SIM lock – Enter password" message
#0149*MCK# (where "MCK" is the 8 digit unlock code you received from us)
If you see: "Network unlock PIN number is entered incorrectly. Contact your Service Provider" message
Power on the phone without the SIM card.
Type your unique Unfreeze code (MCK)
You will get another message saying Unsuccessful, but don’t worry—this is fine.
Now type your unique Network unlock code (NCK)
